May 2003- Eastco Building Services Inc. (EASTCO) a Nationwide Building Maintenance Company and General Contractor, was recently awarded two multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts with two local city agencies. One contract is with The New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC). Under this contract, Eastco will provide construction services to complete interior and exterior alterations to city owned buildings such as City Schools, Firehouses, Courts, and Special
Projects. The other is with the City of New York Housing Authority (NYCHA). Eastco, along with the Housing Authority, will improve and maintain numerous housing developments in all five boroughs of the City of New York.
Each of theses contracts is an Indefinite Quantity Contract, or as they are known as Job Order Contracts (JOC). Over the past three years, Eastco has successfully performed and completed similar contracts with the New York City Board of Education (BOE), and the Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY).
